这座位于亚的斯亚贝巴的“红色恐怖”遇难者纪念博物馆，建立于2010年，作为纪念德尔格政府统治下“红色恐怖”中死者的场所。它没有把历史藏在抽象的叙述里，而是用酷刑器具、头骨与骨骼、棺材、染血的衣物以及遇难者照片，呈现那段经历留下的痕迹。展柜中的物件彼此无声，却让“遇难者”不再只是一个概念，而成为需要被记住的人。引句：“The Red Terror Martyrs' Memorial Museum in Addis Ababa was established in 2010 as a memorial to those who died during the Red Terror under the Derg government.”；“The museum has displays of torture instruments, skulls and bones, coffins, bloody clothes and photographs of victims.”
